The Groove Onions are DJ Ron and DJ Willem, both long time music lovers and vinyl collectors with a wide and diverse (eclectic even) taste in music.
Both these DJ-heroes have their origins story start in the small village of Rijnsburg, where the locals are nicknamed “onions”.
At an early age both these “onions” were bitten by a mysterious musical bug which infected them with the music-collectors-virus. As a result of the bite, they gained superhuman musical taste, incredible speed in changing and finding records, and a crate digging instinct seldom seen before or since.
